If you are an undergraduate student seeking for a study place at university in Norway, you will have to submit your application through the Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service - NUCAS (Samordna opptak, SO) as explained below:

Fill in the online application form, called nettsøknad, at Samordna opptak web site before 1 March. You can list up to 10 study programs you are interested in, in order of priority.

Once you are registered at Samordna opptak, you will receive a form called omslagsark by post. Fill it in with information about your educational background and return it with attested copies of other requested documents like your school leaving certificate.

By the end of July your university will inform you whether you have been admitted to the study program you selected. Please, note that your educational background and grade point average from your upper secondary school studies will determine whether you qualify for the program/s you applied for.
